Everything Beautiful Began After by Simon Van Booy - First of all, thank you, Sue J. You always know which books I'll love, and this was no exception.  It's not the easiest of reading, but so worth it.  Simon Van Booy writes this story on so many levels - it's a love story about love and loss and loving a place, and overcoming unbearably sad events, and how people find their way through from the very depths of sad experiences.  Which makes it sound like a book you wouldn't want to read, and which is the opposite of what I want to do here!  It mostly takes place in Athens, but then it takes place all around the world, and it also takes place in one man's head, but then again from so many other viewpoints.  One of the best things about it is that you've never read another book like it.  Not everyone will be a fan, but if it turns out that you are, then thank Sue for the favor!  Enjoy!
